Code of ethics
Milena Nikolova is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and a qualified person-centred practitioner. As such she subscribes to the BACP codes of ethics.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is an essential part of all counselling and psychotherapy. It underpins your (client) sense of safety and trust and contributes to making the therapeutic relationship different from any other. Bluemind holds all records securely and will ensure confidentiality in the practice of any information held about its clients. All information recorded and held is solely for the purpose of maintaining effective therapeutic contact.
Anti-discrimination policy
Bluemind counselling is strongly committed to anti-discrimination. It values differences and diversity and does not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender and gender identity, sexual preference or orientation, marital/partnership status, religion, race, colour, national origin, disability, heritage or political belief.
Referrals
Other self employed practitioners or organisations will be regulated by their respective member bodies and they will have their own individual terms and conditions. For any signposting that is made it is important to check on these contractual arrangements and to appraise yourself fully of all agreements and expectations between yourself and the associate party.
Please note: These are general guidelines as such they are not exhaustive. An extended working contract detailing sessions, rate agreement, holiday/cancellation policies etc. is send to individuals prior to starting counselling work together.
