bluemind counselling & psychotherapy
Person-centred therapy to support you through grief, love and life.
Person-centred therapy to support you through grief, love and life.
Bluemind counselling and psychotherapy service specialises in (but not limited to) bereavement/grief counselling. Grief is confusing and can be very isolating. Loss and pain will always alter the course of our lives - from bereavement of a family member or a friend; living or supporting someone with a life-limiting diagnosis - to the everyday grief we don’t call grief - big life transitions i.e. children leaving home, divorce, loss of identity etc.
Grief counselling can play an important role in your healing journey. Sometimes we can't talk to the close people around us about what our pain and loss feel like, sometimes, confiding in a professional can help.
Bluemind counselling and psychotherapy provides a space of empathy and impartialness, with the hope that you feel comfortable to bring your whole-self and whatever arises in the process of working together - your inherent wisdom as well as your struggles; your strengths as well as your challenges; your mind, body, your soul or spirit – all of which have many ways of guiding us in how to heal. We will meet each emotion with kindness not judgement; with patience not dismissal.
Offering in-person counselling in Glasgow at The Consulting Rooms or online sessions. You can choose to meet weekly or fortnightly, either short-term (6-8 sessions) or long term (open-ended) depending on your needs.

My name is Milena, I am the counsellor behind Bluemind counselling.
Prior to becoming a counsellor I worked in the music & events industry.
I have trained with Cruse Bereavement Care and worked as a Bereavement Support Practitioner at the Royal Hospital for Children, part of the NHS & Child Bereavement UK team. I am currently an EAP Counsellor with Health Assured.
In my private practice
I continue to seek ways of supporting individuals on their unique paths of overcoming emotional turmoil.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I work within the person-centred approach to counselling and psychotherapy. This is a type of talking therapy, in which I help people explore their inner worlds, hear their own hearts, recognise their truth and meaning, which may guide them to achieve what they are seeking.
Central to my work is our therapeutic relationship, I provide a confidential space of empathy and impartialness, where we can connect and understand your multi-layered experience.
I will not offer platitudes, nor sugar coat your challenges. When appropriate, I may offer carefully selected resources - literature, art, music, techniques for coping and comfort; all to support our reflection and your therapy goals.
