If you are struggling or feel Like your life has been painted blue
Bluemind counselling offers person-centred therapy to support you through all the different shades of grief, love and life.
Bluemind counselling offers person-centred therapy to support you through all the different shades of grief, love and life.
Grief is confusing and can be very isolating. Loss and pain will always alter the course of our lives. From life-altering losses such as bereavement of family or friends; loss of health. To the everyday grief we don’t call grief, for example - life transitions i.e children leaving home, loss of identity, loss of financial security etc. Counselling can play an important role in your grieving process. Sometimes we can't talk to the close people around us about what our pain and loss feel like, sometimes, confiding in a professional can help.
Bluemind counselling provides a space of empathy and impartialness, with the hope that instead of burying complex grief, pain, trauma and love – you consider crying, laughing, thinking, and talking about your journey of being human. We will meet each emotion with kindness not judgement; with patience not dismissal.
We can work either online or in-person at The Consulting Rooms in Glasgow.
You can choose to meet weekly or forthnightly, either short-term (6-8 sessions) or long term (open-ended) depending on your needs. There are concession rates for those who need it - please get in touch, rates are mutually agreed upon contact.

My name is Milena and I am the counsellor behind Bluemind counselling.
My experience working with bereavement and grief began when I trained with Cruse Bereavement Care and met people from various age, gender and socio-economic groups. Other experience includes working as a Bereavement Practitioner at the Royal Hospital for Children.
I am also an affiliate counsellor with Health Assured - a leading UK employee assistance programme.
Through my private practice Bluemind counselling,
I continue to seek ways of supporting individuals on their unique paths of overcoming the challenges of grief, love and life.
I look forward to hearing from you.
I work within the person-centred approach to counselling. This is a type of talking therapy, in which I help people explore their inner worlds, hear their own hearts, recognise their truth and meaning, which may guide them to achieve what they are seeking.
We work collaboratively to place a strong emphasis on building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship where we can connect and understand the multi-layered experience.
I will not offer platitudes, nor sugar coat your challenges. When appropriate, I may offer carefully selected resources - literature, poems, art, music, techniques to comfort and support our reflection, and your therapy goals.
